RAR remains the archive people receive without owning the tool for it. Extraction here needs no installation: drop the file, pick a destination folder, and the contents unpack into it with their directory structure preserved. The archive is read in memory in your browser. Two honest limits: password-protected RARs cannot be decrypted by the bundled reader and are refused with a clear sentence, and very large archives get a memory warning before starting.
Questions
Do I really need nothing installed?
Nothing: reading happens in the page. On browsers without a folder picker, files download individually instead.
Why are protected RARs refused?
RAR's encryption is not supported by the bundled reader, and a clear refusal beats a cryptic failure. Protected ZIPs, by contrast, extract fine.
Is the archive uploaded?
No, extraction is local from start to finish.
