Ops, finance, HR and sales teams get exports that Excel cannot open: a 500 MB CSV of transactions, a customer list with a million rows, a payroll extract with a hundred columns. The usual answer is a cloud tool that wants the file uploaded first, which is exactly what a payroll file or a customer list must never do. This workspace opens the file in your browser, on your machine, and gives you the handful of operations those jobs need.
Nothing is uploaded, and here it matters most. Salaries, names, addresses, card numbers and account balances stay in this browser's private storage. There is no server that could keep a copy, leak it or be subpoenaed for it. Clear everything with one click when you are done.

Questions
- Is my data uploaded anywhere?
- No. The file is read by your browser and stays in your browser's private storage on this machine. There is no upload step and no server-side copy. Usage events carry only the file category and a size bucket, never a column name or a value.
- How big a file can it open?
- Hundreds of megabytes on a desktop browser with a few gigabytes of memory. Files are loaded into an analytical engine that spills to disk rather than into the page, so the limit is your machine, not the site. If a join or sort runs out of memory it says so instead of hanging.
- Do I need to know SQL?
- No. Filter, sort, dedupe, join, group and export are buttons with small forms. SQL is there as an optional tab for anyone who wants it.
- What happens to Excel files with several sheets?
- Each sheet becomes its own table, with column types inferred from the data.
- Does it work with the free tier?
- Opening, browsing, filtering and sorting work without signing in. Deduplicating, grouping and exporting up to 100,000 rows need the free license, which is an email link. Joining two files, unlimited export and saved recipes are part of Pro.
- How do I get rid of the data afterwards?
- Clear everything, one button at the top of the workspace, removes every table and every saved step from this browser.
