ODP → Markdown, deck contents set free
Impress presentations reduced to their words: titles, bullets and tables as portable text.
Runs in your browser. Your file never leaves your computer.
- TakesTitles, bullets, tables
- OrderSlide by slide
- LeavesTemplate and transitions
- ParsesLocally
Impress decks hold decisions and plans that deserve a life beyond the projector. Extraction here walks the ODP slide by slide, emitting titles as headings and bullets as lists, tables included, in presentation order. The template, transitions and positioning stay with the deck; the words travel. Output suits meeting archives, wikis and text pipelines that could never ingest a presentation file. As with all document handling here, parsing is strictly in-browser.
Questions
Is the slide hierarchy preserved?
Yes: slide titles become headings, indented bullets keep their nesting, and order matches the deck.
Do speaker notes come along?
The extraction targets slide content; notes are not part of the output.
Uploaded?
No, the deck stays local.
