PDF → TXT, just the words
The text layer, page after page, with no markup at all: the rawest useful form of a document.

- OutputPure text, zero markup
- SpeedThe fastest extraction
- ForScripts, grep, indexing
- ScansReported, not faked
Sometimes structure is noise and only the words matter: feeding a script, grepping across documents, counting, indexing, quoting. This extraction dumps the PDF's text layer as pure plain text, reading order maintained, no markup added or implied. It is the rawest useful form of a document and the fastest to produce. The same honest limit applies as everywhere: a scanned PDF has no text to give, and the page reports that instead of emitting emptiness.
Questions
Is any structure preserved at all?
Paragraph breaks and reading order, nothing more; that is the format's promise and its point.
When should I prefer the Markdown route?
When headings and lists matter downstream; when only words matter, TXT is lighter and simpler.
Local processing?
Yes, extraction included.
